My client is a large company based in Newcastle who currently have a number of exciting projects running for which they need an architectural technician. The projects include very high end residential schemes which for example have car lifts, retractable floors over swimming pools etc. Suitable candidates must be able to run projects with minimal day to day supervision. The ideal person will probably have at least 5 years experience and be someone who would excel in this position. The role is permanent and my client is looking for someone who will grow with the company and stay on for a considerable length of time.

Job Context
Reports directly to the Line Manager or nominated deputy within the region. The Corgi Plumber will provide support for the Angel's Group ARD contract. This contract relies on staff being available 24 hours a day throughout the whole year, and therefore we require employees to rotate being on call on weekends and evenings. Public Holidays are normal working days.
Job Purpose
?? Responsible for the day to day plumbing of Angel property/buildings, HMO's and private housing.
?? To issue gas checks every 12 months.

?? To ensure compliance with contractual standards and to issue the requisite Gas certificates.
Job Responsibilities
?? Installing systems for hot and cold water, heating, sanitation and waste disposal
?? Fitting pipe work to baths, toilets, sinks, central heating boilers, water pumps, water storage cylinders and cold water storage cisterns
?? Fitting and jointing rainwater, soil and drainage pipes
?? Maintenance and repair work
?? Routine servicing on boilers and other appliances
?? Installing and sometimes designing, plumbed services for houses and commercial buildings
?? Making and fitting flashings or roof weatherings to make joints between roof tiles or slates, chimneys and dormer windows
?? To be part of the on call rota during evenings, weekends and public holidays.
