Pin Point Festival of Racing at Newcastle saw guests and punters alike brave the winter weather to enjoy a top flight evening of racing with the aptly named Pay Freeze taking the top prize on the night.
Alan Findlay and his team at Pin Point along with Anth and Kelly Macari made sure that the meeting, which was broadcast live on Sky TV ran smoothly and that guests had night full of high quality entertainment with a cabaret session after the conclusion of racing with tunes sang by Beth Macari who has recently toured with Jane Macdonald of TV fame.
A number of retired greyhound charities benefited from the evening and there was also memorial races held in honour of Tony McGiven and Seamus Watson, well know characters around the sport and rightly remembered on the night.
