Pin Point Recruitment is proud to be recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Kettering. This is a permanent night shift opportunity, offering excellent earning potential and a stable working pattern.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned preventative maintenance in line with the site maintenance schedule
Respond to mechanical breakdowns and carry out effective repairs to minimise downtime
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure production continuity
Continuously improve maintenance practices to maximise service levels
Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times
Ensure compliance with all legal, safety, and environmental requirements
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
Time-served Mechanical Engineer with relevant qualifications
Previous experience working within a manufacturing or industrial environment
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and within tight time constraints
Positive, proactive, and “can-do” attitude
Multiskilled experience (mechanical/electrical) would be advantageous
