Recruitment Compliance
Our compliance process
You can rest assured that all our agency workers have passed thorough compliance vetting, including DBS, reference checks, right-to-work and training, prior to placement. We also ensure that all staff have at least six months experience working in a healthcare setting in the UK.
Compliance Documents for Healthcare Workers
We require evidence of the following documentation to ensure that staff are qualified, legally entitled to work in the UK and have two good clinical references:
-
Right to Work: Provide valid proof of your right to work, such as a passport, visa, residence card (EU), and Home Office check.
-
DBS Certificate: A valid enhanced DBS certificate covering both children and adults.
-
CV: Your CV must show your full professional work history for the past 10 years.
-
Photograph: Submit a recent passport-size photo for identification and your ID badge. This must be a clear head-and-shoulders image with a neutral background.
-
Proof of Address: Provide a document dated within the last three months, for example a utility bill, tenancy agreement, or bank statement.
-
Proof of National Insurance: Accepted documents include a P45, P60, recent payslip, HMRC letter, or National Insurance card.
-
Mandatory Practical/Online Training: All candidates are required to complete our mandatory training to ensure they have the knowledge and practical skills to administer care safely.
-
Immunisation History: Provide vaccination records, including Hepatitis B titre levels and immunisations for TB, varicella, rubella, and measles.
-
Clinical References: Two references from supervisors or managers at a higher level. These must cover the last three years and include a professional email address.

NMC Verification
Registered General Nurse’s must also provide their NMC pin, enhanced DBS check, and proof of nursing education (such as a degree or proof of NHS or other training).
Registered Mental Health Nurses must also provide proof of breakaway training.
Regular Compliance Monitoring
Compliance is an ongoing process, not a one-time check. Our dedicated compliance team regularly monitors all staff to ensure their certifications, training, and documentation remain current and valid.
