Die Maintenance Supervisor
Location: Washington
Salary: £48,000 per annum
An established manufacturing business is looking for an experienced Die Maintenance Supervisor to lead a busy shop-floor team supporting a high-volume Press Shop.
What you’ll be doing:
Leading and coordinating die maintenance activities on shift
Managing technicians and team leaders day-to-day
Planning workloads, signing off work, and keeping production moving
Providing hands-on technical support for press tooling and die issues
Driving safety standards, KPIs, and continuous improvement
Liaising with senior management and supporting HR processes
What you’ll need:
Time-served apprenticeship (press tool / toolmaking background)
Strong knowledge of press tooling, die setting, and fault-finding
Previous supervisory or senior technician experience
Confident leadership, communication, and organisation skills
