Contract Type: Permanent (Term-time only)
Salary: £43,560 – £49,789 per annum (pro rata if starting mid-academic year)
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist to join the Therapy Team at a vibrant college setting supporting young adults with complex needs.
This is a fantastic chance for a passionate and adaptable Occupational Therapist to become part of a dedicated, multi-disciplinary team committed to delivering best practice and shaping services to meet the evolving needs of learners.
This is a term-time only role working with young adults with a range of needs including cerebral palsy, physical disabilities, communication and sensory impairments, and Autism Spectrum Conditions.
What You'll Be Doing
Supporting students in developing functional life skills to promote independence
Delivering Occupational Therapy interventions as part of a multidisciplinary team
Participating in service development and contributing to a high-quality therapy provision
Engaging in collaborative working with education and care staff
Attending multidisciplinary meetings and supporting EHCP outcomes
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a qualified and HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist with a passion for inclusive education and therapy-led support. Ideally, you will have:
Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and/or physical disabilities
Skills in postural management, sensory assessments, or use of specialist equipment
A strong belief in teamwork and collaborative practice
A flexible, enthusiastic, and person-centred approach

Please note: Salary amounts are based on the full academic year (1 Sept – 31 Aug). If your employment begins part way through the year, salary will be adjusted accordingly.
