About the Role


An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Large Format Print Supervisor to join a growing and well-established print and marketing services provider based in Huntingdon. This is a key leadership position, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the large format production department.


The successful candidate will manage workflow, ensure top-quality output, and play a vital role in developing and motivating a small but dedicated team.

Large Format Print Supervisor Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate daily production in the large format print department

  • Manage and prioritise multiple jobs to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Ensure all jobs are completed to the highest standard and within service level agreements (SLAs)

  • Support and supervise the production team, including pre-press

  • Work closely with management to improve workflows, stock control, and waste reduction

  • Maintain equipment and oversee maintenance schedules

  • Monitor and manage stock levels, placing orders as required

  • Provide technical support and guidance on equipment and production processes

  • Participate in off-site installations when required

  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment

  • Attend training and stay updated on industry best practices


Large Format Print Supervisor Skills Required:

  • Has proven experience in a large format print or display production environment

  • Possesses excellent technical knowledge including RIP software, artwork preparation, and scheduling tools

  • Is confident managing and motivating a team

  • Communicates effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders

  • Thrives in a deadline-driven setting and can juggle multiple priorities

  • Takes a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement

  • Has strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

  • Holds a professional and positive attitude with a commitment to high standards
