Location: Glasgow G21
Shift Pattern: 08:00 -16:30
Pay Rate: £15.89 per hour + Overtime Opportunities
The Role
Are you mechanically minded and looking to work in a well-established environment? We are seeking a motivated Maintenance Mechanical Engineer to join our client’s engineering team in Glasgow G21.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with an engineering background to step up into a 4-on/4-off shift pattern, working alongside experienced engineers in a fast-paced production environment.
They are looking for a hands-on Maintenance Mechanical Engineer to join their dedicated team. This is a role for someone who takes pride in keeping the wheels turning and thrives on solving complex mechanical puzzles in a fast-paced environment.
MUST have experience of working in maintenance engineering in a hospital environment
Lead the shift team and provide support to working colleague’s
Carry out maintenance, repairs, testing and inspection of building, mechanical and electrical services, associated systems, plant and equipment.
Be able to maintain, service and repair a wide range of the building services listed below
Heating and domestic water services
General Electrical services such as lighting and power
Air handling units
Low voltage electrical distribution system and switchgear
Emergency standby generating plant
Fire alarm systems and emergency lighting
Electrical control systems
Building Management System
