Project Engineer (Mechanical/Electrical)
Location: Hartlepool (TS25)
Salary: Up to £50,000 + Excellent Benefits Package
We are seeking a degree-qualified Project Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical) to support and deliver capital engineering projects (£100k–£5m) that enhance site performance, safety, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:
Support the planning, design, and delivery of mechanical and electrical CAPEX projects from concept through to commissioning.
Develop detailed project documentation including scope, budgets, and schedules.
Coordinate with stakeholders, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project objectives are met.
Review and contribute to mechanical and electrical designs, specifications, and technical reports.
Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning activities to ensure compliance with standards and safety requirements.
Support asset improvement, reliability, and maintenance initiatives across both mechanical and electrical systems.
What We’re Looking For:
Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or a related discipline).
Experience delivering projects within industrial, heavy engineering, or manufacturing environments.
Strong understanding of both mechanical and electrical systems.
Knowledge of Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (CDM) and health & safety compliance.
Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
