Warehouse Operative
Wakefield
Pay: £13.32 per hour
Shifts: Rotating - 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM / 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM
We're hiring Warehouse Operatives to join a global retailer at their distribution centre in Wakefield.
Flexible working rotas, potential permanent work, and plenty of over time.
The role of Warehouse Operative is offered on temporary to ongoing basis, potentially leading to permanent positions.
Duties will include:
Working within a busy industrial environment
Ticketing and selecting
General warehouse duties - loading and unloading
Moving pallets via pump truck
Working as part of a close team and have the initiative to work on your own accord.
Ensuring customer daily KPI'S are met.
Skills and experience:
Manual handling experience
Flexible attitude and team player
Good verbal and written communication skills
Self-starter
Candidate must have a flexible approach to working hours
A basic English & Maths assessment is required during interview
A 5-hour induction will be mandatory before starting
Own safety boots/shoes required if successful
