Job Purpose
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Welder for a variety of metals including steel, stainless steel, duplex/super duplex, Inconel, and aluminium, in line with approved welding procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Perform welding to ASME IX.
Read and interpret fabrication and welding drawings
Work to BS EN ISO 3834-2 welding quality system.
Accountabilities
Undertake welding using, GTAW (TIG), FCAW, and other processes in accordance with BSEN ISO 15614 and ASME IX.
Maintain accuracy in dimensions, layouts, cutting, and fit-ups.
Ensure quality standards and inspection criteria are consistently achieved.
Skills & Qualifications Essential:
Evidence of previous welding codes and demonstrable welding knowledge.
Proficiency in set-up and welding processes.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
Desirable:
Apprenticeship background in a shop floor environment.
Additional Information
Some travel may be required.
A welding test will be part of the interview process.
